AAMP is thrilled to be part of this year’s magnificent HOLDFAST Festival – an absolute CELEBRATION of art.
We’re participating in three different events – our founder and chair, Christine, is hosting a workshop, we’re partnering with Admiralty House Communications Museum for a pop-up event, and we’re hosting a table on the Art Crawl.
Check out the details of below and see the full, amazing schedule on the HOLDFAST website: Featured Artists, Workshops, Art Crawl
Relaxing Creativity with (AAMP Chair) Christine Hennebury
12-1:30pm, Eastern Edge Studio
We’re going to be playing around with the creative process and finding ways to relax.
Christine has a few teeny projects for you to try and she’s hoping you’ll be willing to be awful at each of them.
Yes, she’s encouraging you to be bad at art!
Why? Because this workshop is about the process, not about the results.
Bonus points and gold stars if you make a glorious mess of things.
All supplies will be provided and no one will be put on the spot about anything.
Suitable for all ages!
Friday, August 25
