Pride in the Pearl

AAMP is delighted to be participating in the City of Mount Pearl’s first Pride March tomorrow, Friday, July 21, 2023 at 5:30.

If you’d like to join us, please meet us at the Morris Academy parking lot for the March to St. David’s Field where there will be Pride festivities going on from 6-9PM.

Please watch the City of Mount Pearl’s social media for any updates regarding this event.

Weekly Crafts & Activities

From now until August 24, 2023 we’re hosting FREE weekly crafts and activities for kids, youth, and families at The Annex. 

Please register by emailing info@aamp.ca so we can have enough supplies ready for everyone.

Tuesday, July 25, 2023 – 6:30-8:00PM – Family Craft – Pressed Flower Collage

Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – 10:00-11:00AM – Kids Craft – Cute Cloud Papercraft

Thursday, July 27, 2023 – 3:00-4:00PM – Youth Craft (ages 12+) – Tape Resist Painting

Nia in the Garden

We’re partnering with Nia on the Rock to offer Nia in the Annex Garden every Thursday at 11am.

This is an outdoor class encouraging gentle, joyful movement with instructor Elaine Dunphy.

Admission is $10 and you can register by emailing niaontherock@gmail.com

Ongoing Activities

Wednesday, July 26, 2023 – 1-4PM – Creative Cafe 

Join us for a few hours of creative relaxation in good company!

You bring your project,  we’ll supply snacks and space to get creative.

Monday, July 31, 2023 -7:30-9:30PM – Writing with AAMP

Need time and space to write? 

Want to connect with other writers and chat about your writing?

Join us at our monthly writing session and you can do either or both!

The writing room will be open for the full session with writing sprints, prompts, and snacks. 

During the first hour anyone who wants to chat about their writing can meet in the AAMP studio and talk through their triumphs and challenges before joining the sprints.  

This is a drop-in event but if you wish to join us via Zoom, please email info@aamp.ca to get the link.

PS – We’ll have snacks available. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary restrictions.
