Sunday, April 10, 1:30PM at The Annex/Online – Mug Rug Sewing Project – Want to make your snack time a little more fun? We can help! Join instructor Carol-Ann Hennebury for our Mug Rug sewing class and learn how to sew your own teeny placemat, just big enough for a mug and a snack. If you have your own sewing machine, please bring it along. Register by email at info@aamp.ca.

Monday, April 11, 7:30PM at The Annex/Online – Stop Thinking and Write Workshop – Does your brain get in your way when you’re trying to write? AAMP Chair, Christine Hennebury, who happens to be a writer, storyteller, and creativity coach, has helped lots of AAMP writers coax their brains into working with them instead of against them. If you feel inclined to write but you have trouble getting your words out, give this workshop a try. Register by email at info@aamp.ca.

Saturday, April 16 – Screenprinting T-shirts  (Partnership with Admiralty House) – During this event, one of the first of Admiralty House Museum’s DIY events for their upcoming Mount Pearl Punk exhibit, you can choose one of their designs and learn how to print it on a t-shirt. More info to come!

Wednesday, April 20, 7:00-7:45 at Mount Pearl Library – All Ages Show and Tell (Partnership with Mount Pearl Library) – Got a hobby or a collection that you want to tell us about? We’re all ears! Register at 368-3603 or by dropping into the library. We only have room for 8 presenters, don’t dilly-dally!

Thursday, April 21 – World Creativity And Innovation Day Events – The Annex/Online- We’re celebrating WCID with a brainstorming session and Admiralty House is hosting a makerspace, details to follow!

Friday, April 22 – 80s Drop-in Activities at The Annex (Partnership with Admiralty House) – Need to brush-up on your friendship bracelet skills, catch up on your 80s movies, or have another candy necklace? We’re got you covered! Details to follow.

Saturday, April 23, 12-4 – Cosplay Workshop – Intermediate (Partnership with Newfoundland Cosplayers) – If you’ve got a little Cosplay experience but you need some advice or some company while you work on your current masterpiece, this is the event for you!

Monday, April 25, 1:30-4:00 – Seniors Creativity Session – Mug Rugs – The Annex/Online – Our monthly Seniors Creativity Sessions are returning! Join us on April 25 and make a Mug Rug – a small placemat just big enough for a mug and a snack – to make your snack time just a little more fun. If you have a sewing machine, please bring it. If not, we’ll have a few to share. Register at info@aamp.ca and let us know if you want to be on our Seniors Creativity mailing list.

Saturday, April 30 – Crafternoon (Partnership with Admiralty House) – The Annex/Online – We’re still working out the details but here’s what we know: This event will be in the afternoon. There will be a craft for kids. It will be fun.
