Did you catch CBC’s piece on Jennifer’s art installation, currently open to the public at The Annex?

Visit the CBC NL website to read this amazing interview and see a walkthrough of the exhibit!

The installation is open from 11AM-6PM until Saturday, March 23 at The Annex.

On the last day of the show, Saturday, March 23, at 2 p.m. there will be an Artist’s Talk, in the person of the Wicked Stepmother, telling the story of the Juniper tree in her own words.

Then, Jennifer Morgan and David Baltzer (who has work in the show) will host a Q&A session.

Admission is free.

Please note that this installation features some disturbing themes due to the source material (the fairy tale.) Please contact us at aampinfo@gmail.com if you have any concerns/need further information.

World Storytelling Day Story Circle

The Association for the Arts in Mount Pearl, our host – storyteller Christine Hennebury – and our resident artist, Jennifer Morgan, invite you to join them for a story circle in celebration of World Storytelling Day.

The theme for World Storytelling Day 2024 is Building Bridges but we are taking a VERY broad view of that theme because EVERY story builds a bridge between teller and listener.

Whether you have a story to tell or you just want to listen, we welcome you to share in the fun of stories told aloud at The Annex on Wednesday, March 20 at 7PM.

As a bonus, this story circle will be held in the midst of Jennifer’s ‘Reframing the Grimm’ story-based art installation, so visitors can enjoy the artwork as well as the tales we tell.

Admission is free but AAMP is always happy to receive donations.
